Dog Foods Linked to Heart Disease


Several pet foods have been linked to a heart disease called dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) in dogs. This heart disease can decrease the life expectancy of pets and can be fatal in some cases. Of those foods being investigated, 90% of the implicated diets were labeled as grain free. For that reason, we do not recommend feeding grain free diets.
