Dr. Bertram Lau, Dr. Rachael Lau and Dr. Ednee Yoshioka have been trained to perform acupuncture on pets. Dr. Rachael and Dr. Yoshioka took additional training to become certified in veterinary medical acupuncture (CVMA). 

 

Acupuncture helps with pain relief, quickens wound healing, improves neurologic function for our paralyzed or neurologically impaired patients, stimulates the appetite and helps increase the parasympathetic system for improving GI motility, digestion and can help reduce nausea.  It is a non-invasive, adjunctive therapy that has produced remarkable results.
